Had facilities needed in my standard quadruple room, including central heating, a work desk, and TV. A bathtub in the private bathroom was a plus. Its location was central, really close to Southover Grange Gardens.

Overall I enjoyed that newly decorated hotel. The location couldn't be more magnificent in the old part of the city. Moreover, it's close enough to Montpellier in the summer for the Estival and shopping, the Comedie and hip shopping streets and restaurants.

I absolutely loved the charming and quaint atmosphere of the hotel. The old building had so much character, it reminded me of staying in a historical French villa. The decorations were tastefully done, with a touch of elegance that made me feel like I was truly experiencing the culture of Montpellier. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The hallways were wide and well-lit, making it easy for me to navigate with my walking cane. It was also a relief to find out that the hotel had a lift, which saved me from having to climb any stairs.
If I had to ask for one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be for the hotel to provide more assistance to guests. While the staff at the hotel were friendly, I found that they were not always readily available to assist with any questions or concerns.

The twin/double room on the first floor was amazing! It had a balcony where I could relax and enjoy the view. The room also had a fan, which was perfect for the warm weather. The soundproofing was a bonus, ensuring a peaceful and quiet stay.
Personally, I found the stairs to access the first floor twin/double room a bit inconvenient. But hey, that's just my opinion, and some people might not mind at all.

I absolutely loved the charming decor of Hotel Nova. The vintage furniture and beautiful artwork throughout the hotel gave it a unique and cozy atmosphere. The common areas were also very accessible for senior people like me, with comfortable seating and plenty of space to move around.
I would have appreciated if the children working there could have offered more assistance to senior guests.
